Free Webinar for Faculty!

Posted on March 31, 2015 by

The Association for Distance Education and Independent Learning (ADEIL) is hosting a FREE Webinar for any interested faculty or designers.  Please see below for all the details!  (Also, if you have a webinar idea, they are accepting proposals!)

What: ADEIL’s quarterly webinar! Elizabeth Robinson of Brigham Young University will present “Designing what they Read: Students and Text in Online Courses.” How much of the text in an online course does a student actually read? Several studies have been done which look at the amount of reading done in the classroom, and similar statistics would likely reflect reading in online courses. This interactive webinar discusses the issue of text from both a design and interactive perspective. Participants will also be able to share their ideas and perspectives. Join us for this 30 minute presentation, followed by a 10-15-minute Q&A.

Who: All ADEIL members and any other interested parties; please forward the link to anyone you think may be interested.

When: April 16, 2015, 11:00 MST (1:00 pm EST)

Where: On your computer at

Why: Be part of the solution.  Professional development has never been so easy.  Come taste one of ADEIL’s many professional development opportunities, and help us help you.
